Ordinance 2002-01

An Ordinance for the Discharge of Fireworks Curfew on Discharge and Holiday Exceptions  

Be it ordained by the Mayor and Town Council of the Town of Trinity, in the State of Alabama, as follows:  

A. General provisions.
It shall be unlawful for any person to shoot, fire, set off, ignite or discharge fireworks of any nature whatsoever within the municipal limits of the Town of Trinity before 6:00 a.m. or after 10:00 p.m. on any day, with exception to section (B) of said ordinance.

B. Exceptions to general provisions.
It shall be unlawful for any person to shoot, fire, set off, ignite or discharge fireworks of any nature whatsoever within the municipal limits of the Town of Trinity before 6:00 a.m. or after 12:00 midnight on December 31, January 1, July 3 and July 4.

C. Penalties for violation.
Any person who violates this Ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined not less than ten-dollars ($10.00) nor more than One hundred dollars ($100.00).  Each incident upon which a firework is shot, fired, set off, ignited or discharged may be deemed a separate offense.
