Town Clerk – Administrator
Barbara Jones has served as Town Clerk-Administrator since May 2003. From July 2000 until her promotion to Town Clerk, she served as the Assistant Town Clerk and Water Clerk for Trinity. She received her Certified Municipal Clerk status in 2004. She received her certification as a Master Municipal Clerk and Certified Municipal Revenue Officer in 2012.
The Town Clerk-Administrator is the Custodian of public records for the Town of Trinity, which includes all minutes, resolutions, ordinances, and contracts. This office is responsible for the distribution and expenditures of all Town funds, such as Business Licenses, Building Permits, and all Town and Jurisdiction taxes. The Town Clerk prepares agendas for and attends Town Council Work Sessions, Council Meetings, Planning Commission Meetings and Zoning Board of Adjustments Meetings. The Town Clerk is also the Town’s Chief Election Official and is responsible for the administration of Municipal Elections.
