Trinity Municipal court is held twice a month on Thursday nights at 6:00 pm.

If you have a ticket that is payable before court, you may now pay online by using the following link.  Click the box that says Trinity Municipal Court.   There will be a 3.5% fee charged.  Trinity receives no additional revenue from this fee.

We do offer a Defensive Driving School. It is held on a Saturday every month. The defendant is required to come to court if interested in Driving School, the Judge is the only one that grants it. It is based on driving history. Some reasons the judge may deny driving school; If the Defendant holds a CDL, has ever been to a driving school held by Trinity, has a significant driving history, has had a DUI, or their license has been suspended or revoked. The fee for Driving School is $150.00 to be paid the night of court.

Schedule of fines that can be paid prior to court: Speeding, Running Stop Sign, Running Red light, no helmet (motorcycle rider), stopping on highway, Driving on the wrong side of the road, Failure to dim headlights, Failure to yield right of way, following to closely, failure to wear seat belts, failure to stop at railroad crossing, failure to use a child restraint, violating driver's license restriction or endorsement.  Improper: Backing, brakes, lights, muffler, passing, signal, tag, tires, turn, improper or no rearview mirror.

Methods of payment: Cash, certified check, credit card, or money order

***If your ticket can be paid prior to court these are instructions for mailing payment: Money order or certifed check from your bank.

Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope to have receipt mailed back to you.

***If your vehicle has been impounded the following is needed to have the vehicle released.

If you are not the registered owner, you must provide a notarized statement from the owner stating the vehicle may be released to you.

We will also need to see and make a copy of the following:

Valid Driver's License
Current Insurance on the vehicle towed

And one of the following:
Original Title
copy of title front and back
Current Tag Receipt

Once all these are presented and a $50.00 (cash, credit card, or money order) administrative fee is paid, we will provide a release form for vehicle.
